As a journalist, my work has taken me on the road with a female truck driver, on set for a Sinaloan beauty pageant, and past the gatekeepers of Hollywood. Now, I’m probing L.A. with the goal of strengthening our community through shared knowledge.
After growing up in suburban Boston and attending college in New York, I need no more icy, chilled months. I love L.A. for its sunshine, but more than that, I love it for being whatever you want it to be, for whoever you want to be in it.
