L.A. Will Be Gifted With A Huell Howser Documentary On Thanksgiving
We can't think of a better way to end a Thanksgiving meal with the family this year than to huddle around the TV and catch a documentary on the life of the late Huell Howser, the man who taught us everything we needed to know about California.
KCET will be airing "A Golden State of Mind: The Storytelling Genius Of Huell Howser" on Nov. 27 at 8 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. It will tell the life story of the beloved TV host of "California's Gold," who died last January at 67 from a battle with prostate cancer. We'll get to hear his friends and colleagues regale us with stories about Howser's many adventures visiting family-run businesses, offbeat landmarks and historical locations throughout the Golden State over more than 30 years. We hope we'll get to see a montage of Howser saying his famous catchphrase, "That's amazing!"
Here's the teaser for the documentary:

KCET is on channel 28.1 on basic television, and 28 on DirecTV, Dish Network and AT&T U-verse.
