After many inquiries, Lindy & Grundy have finally launched their butchering program geared towards in-home cooks looking to sharpen their knife skills. The classes will hover around the $100-150 range and cover topics like the basics of breaking down a bird to making stock in their Chicken 101 course, the art of sausage making, or going whole hog in their full animal utilization class.

As another element of their incremental expansion, Erika Nakamura and Amelia Posada will so be adding their own sort of meat CSA, offering weekly delivered meat-filled boxes to subscribers.

Curated boxes come in large sizes containing 6-8 cuts of steak, chicken, or pork or smaller selections that come with 2-4 cuts. Box sets will rotate seasonally, with the addition of braising meats, such as chuck roasts and short ribs, being thrown in during the colder months. Prices range depending on the order placed and number of diners. Customers may place their weekend delivery orders by phone at 323.951.0804 by Wednesdays staring in September.
