Grape Date: A wine show about art tasting is RIPE, a exhibition at Crewest Gallery of wine barrels, bottles and corks transformed by urban and graffiti artists. At this weekend’s closing reception the art of wine comes to life with the help of City Sip Wine Bar and Robert Plata Wine Company who'll be pouring the most recent vintage of Plata Wine and artist Chaz Bojorquez signing labels. The Scarlet Sweater: Historically accurate recreations of famous literary works take center stage at this weekend's Vintage Fashion Show & Tea event. Models will promenade in men’s and women’s vintage or period accurate reproduction clothing based on historical patterns from the 15th Century through the 1940s - all with a literary twist. Everybody Walks In LA: Stroll the 14th Annual Art & Design Walk in West Hollywood on Melrose, Beverly and Robertson Boulevards and check out exclusive collections of more than 250 interior design showrooms, galleries, boutiques and restaurants. Events, product launches, gallery shows, discounts, food and entertainment will be hosted by The Avenues. Keep an eye out for performances on the streets, cocktail receptions, runway shows, artist openings and, famous food trucks. Hell On Wheels: Learn forward and backward stroking, two foot turns, how to execute edges and curve, basic dance steps, figures and freestyle moves during an Intermediate skating class at Moonlight Rollerway. Price of instruction includes rental and open skating during the Morning or Afternoon session, plus participation in Proficiency Tests judged by sanctioned officials of the Roller Skating Association.
