Alexis Neiers Of The Bling Ring Apologizes To Lindsay Lohan For 2010 Interview
When Alexis Neiers -- frontwoman of the Bling Ring -- went to jail, she famously bragged about sharing a cell block with Lindsay Lohan. In an interview with E! Online, the reality star/criminal told a reporter that Lohan had been crying in her cell:
"Crying. She was crying," Neiers exclusively tells E! News. "I could hear her. " The first day, Neiers says, was the toughest for Lohan.
"I could start hearing like what was going on in there, I tried to just, really just keep to myself and the last thing I really want to hear, you know, when you're trying to be so strong and just get through the day. I mean, the days are so long in there, you're woken up at 5:30.
"She was crying. She was talking to deputies and, you know, just trying to—I couldn't really like make it out, but from what I saw the first day, I mean, she was lying in there and just trying to like calm down."
I saw her very few times. I never spoke to her. It got blown up into this whole thing. I regret doing the interview where I spoke about it. It just wasn’t really fair to her. I was still using. Of course she was crying in jail, she’s in fucking jail. To Lindsay Lohan: I’m so sorry. I should have never done that.
Well well well. Alexis Neiers apologizing to Lindsay Lohan for breaching her privacy. Is civility having its moment in the sun? Is this the end of catty reality stars blowing each other up for the public's amusement.
Noooo. But it is a brief moment of niceness. Let us bask in it while we can.
