The parents of two children were arrested after deputies pulled them over and discovered that they had locked their kids in the trunk of the car. The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department got a call Sunday night around 10:44 p.m. that someone had spotted a child in the trunk of a black Cadillac at the drive-thru of a Baker's restaurant in Highland.

A 4-month-old El Cajon boy died after being left alone in the family car overnight. His parents were arrested while his siblings were taken into protective custody. Parents Israel Soto, 30, and Jessica Quezada, 23, were both arrested on suspicion of willful cruelty toward a child leading to death.
