Yeah But No But Yeah But No
Today's 4:20 film is a double whammy, beginning with the intro from a sketch on the British version of Comic Relief. The bit features Matt Lucas of Little Britain playing his trashy teenybopper character, Vicky Pollard, and supermodel Kate Moss playing Vicky's slutty sister, Katie. (Embedding of the full clip was forbidden, but you can see it by clicking here.)
The second clip features a real-life Vicky Pollard auditioning for the British show X Factor (I gather it's similar to American Idol), where judge Simon Cowell pointed out her freakish resemblance to her fictional doppelganger. Most times British accents make you sound smarter, but this girl proves that British accents can absolutely make you sound stupider. BTW, if you think Simon's cruel in America, you should see him on his home turf.
