It was a warm summer day in Carson, and people were jammed like sardines on the grounds of the Home Depot Center. With the festivities sold out Saturday, people were outright giddy walking into the grounds in anticipation for the excitement contained withing.

There were even throngs of people gathered on Victoria Blvd. looking in from the outside to catch a glimpse of skateboard vert event and Shaun White (who placed third in the event).

All in all everyone seemed impervious to the dissension within about the superpark course. As you can see in the video below of the BMX Freestyle Superpark Finals, the superpark wasn't quite so super, with Bob Burnquist dismissing it entirely.
