Man Fatally Beaten Outside Halloween Party In Hollywood
A 29-year-old man was beaten to death outside a nightclub in Hollywood Saturday night as he was leaving a Halloween party, police say.
NBC L.A. reports that the man was leaving Couture Nightclub, near Hollywood and Cahuenga boulevards at around 2:30 a.m, when two women started arguing. According to KTLA, the violence escalated when the men they were with got involved.
A physical fight broke out, and two men started punching and kicking the victim. Police said that the man fell and hit his head on the curb during the beating. While the victim's friends attempted to deliver first aid, they were unable to save him, and when police arrived, they found him laying unconscious in the street. He was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.
"It was just a big rumble in the middle of the street, everyone trying to figure out who's who," one witness told KTLA.

City News Service reports one of the suspects fled the scene "on a party bus," which was pulled over by police, and he's now in custody. Police are still looking for the other suspect.
