L.A. Street Food Fest is Back, Announces Summer Date
L.A. might not be known for fine dining and white tablecloths, but if there's one thing our multicultural city gets, it's street food. For the past four years, Shawna Dawson and her team of organizers have put together the LA Street Food Fest, celebrating these excellent purveyors and the tasty vittles they have to offer.
This year, the event, which brings out L.A.'s heavy hitting hawkers, will take place on Saturday, June 29 at the Rose Bowl.
Some of the highlights of the years past include street meat from Tacos Leo, fancy food trucks, chef-driven street food eats from the likes of Ricardo Zarate and John Sedlar, a VIP lounge with cocktails mixed by Julian Cox, and Starry Kitchen's famous balls -- served by the restaurants owner in a banana suit.
It truly is a summer food event not to be missed.
