Tonight In Rock: Sergio Mendes, Dirty Projectors, The Watkins Family Hour, Army Navy

Our Pick: CLUB NME w/ Army Navy, White Arrows @ Spaceland
Tonight legendary Brazilian musician Sergio Mendes will be headlining the Hollywood Bowl. Brooklyn's crown jewel, the erratic experimental indie rock collective known as Dirty Projectors (LAist Review), are poised to grace the Troubadour. And, lastly, the Watkins Family Hour (LAist Review) will be taking place at Largo at the Coronet. But we strongly suggest heading over Spaceland to catch local indie rockers Army Navy (LAist Interview, #2, Review), who will be ringing in their latest 7" Fandango. LAist favorites White Arrows are slated to kick things off.
You can find these listings as well as the rest of the week's in our weekly Week In Rock post, which (generally) goes up every Sunday.
