Tonight In Rock: Au Revoir Simone, Admiral Radley, A B & The Sea, Oh Darling
Our Pick: Au Revoir Simone, Alexa Wilding, George Sarah @ Echoplex
Tonight Admiral Radley, an LA-based indie rock conglomerate that is equal parts former Grandaddy, former Earlimart, will be performing with local indie rock outfit the Happy Hollows (LAist Review, #2, #3) at the Hammer Museum for this week's edition of 'Also I Like To Rock.' San Franciscan indie pop quartet A B & the Sea are poised to perform at Three Clubs in Hollyweird with none other than Arizona's own indie pop act What Laura Says and Long Beach-bred one-man band Nima Kazeroun, who performs under the pseudonym So Many Wizards. And, lastly, LA-based pop quartet Oh Darling will be gracing Spaceland with local americana outfit Wires in the Walls, as well as Fullerton-bred indie rock quintet the Steelwells. But we strongly suggest heading over to the Echoplex to catch Brooklyn-based electro pop trio Au Revoir Simone, who are touring in support of their recently released remix record—2010's Night Light. LAist favorite, Brooklyn-bred folk songbird Alexa Wilding is slated to kick things off.
