Photos: Segway-Riding Michael Cera Woos A Girl In New "Arrested Development" Pics
Taste the happy people: Tuesday marked the official start of shooting the new episodes of Arrested Development, and every day since, we've seen various on-set photos of Jason Bateman, Portia De Rossi and David Cross. And today, we get the best pics yet: George Michael Bluth on Uncle Gob's Segway "unsuccessfully" trying to woo a girl. We can imagine where this is headed:
According to Pacific Coast News, "lovably awkward actor" Michael Cera and on-screen dad Jason Bateman were filming a scene in Los Angeles, yesterday "in which Cera tried to woo a girl unsuccessfully while riding a Segway." Cera is wearing a University of California, Irvine shirt in some of the photos, and the site's description adds they were filming a "collage scene" (we think they mean "college"). So that might be a very minor spoiler! Sorry!
As for what's in store for Buster Bluth, actor Tony Hale talked to Hollywood.com about where he hopes the character is now: "So much has happened to him. I hope that he’s had some kind of rest. But if it’s been as chaotic as those two-and-a-half years were, I just hope he’s still alive...Maybe Buster has been in a coma these past six years. He’s just waking up for the episodes. He’s like, 'Wait a second. Six years have passed?'"

He also is hopeful that Lucille 2 will be back: "I do hope that he is still involved, somewhat, with Lucille 2. Because I would love to see Liza Minelli again...The whole time that I was on the show, I was consistently surprised. 'Wait, my hand is coming off?' 'I’m dating Liza Minelli?' I enjoyed the shock of it."
