Orange County Pastor Prayed for John Murtha's Death (Obama's, too)

Wiley Drake, a Southern Baptist Pastor in Buena Park, is one of those people trying via legal means to oust President Barack Obama from office, contending he's not a natural born citizen. And that's after he dropped praying for the President's death, saying he now rather see Obama face charges. But other politicians and places are still within Drake's rada like Haiti, which apparently made a deal with Satan, and Congressman John Murtha, who recently passed away.
"The sickness that permeates the extreme religious right never stops surprising me. We've seen Wiley Drake's shtick before, but it's still as repulsive as ever," bemoaned Crooks and Liars yesterday, pointing to an Orange County Register interview with Drake about Murtha.
"Drake said he and his prayer warriors had been praying for Murtha’s death for four or five months," the paper noted. "Among other things, Drake said Murtha’s use of profanity and his use of God’s name in vain. Beside praying for the death of specific politicians, he said they pray for 'politicians in general who are taking unrighteous stands...'"
Drake was the vice-presidential candidate for the America's Independent Party ticket in 2008, according to the folks at Wikipedia.
