Two men are being implicated in a street racing accident that left a 90-year-old woman dead and her son injured. Cilia La Torre of West Covina had just left the hospital on Christmas night at about 9 p.m. and was secured in a wheelchair in a van when it was hit by another car.

A woman who dumped her dead baby in a strawberry field in Camarillo has been arrested on suspicion of murder, reports KTLA. The search for 20-year-old Rosalba Moran of Oxnard began in May of this year, when authorities found the infant, who appeared to have been the victim of a homicide.

Authorities are trying to identify a man who was hit and killed by a train at about 1:00 a.m. today in Pacoima, reports City News Service. The man, described as in his mid-30s and wearing a black jacket, Levis and cowboy boots, was reportedly standing on the tracks when the train was coming.
