Dear LAist, I just made a trip to a Liborio Market, and when I inspected my receipt I learned that tomorrow, June 3, from 10 AM to 8 PM, at the Liborio Market on 3rd and Alvarado (1831 W. 3rd), a Guiness World Record Pupusa will be created at "THE PUPUSA POWER"

Thought you might want to alert the locals, just in case.

Dear Anonymous Pupusa lover,Your name is safe with us but your information has now spread all across the Southland. So thank you for this tip. The Pupusapower.com website seems to show a bigass Pupusa being made last April in LA. Sadly we don't habla espanol, so we just have to assume a lot, and drool over the photos.

Some don't know the healing ways of the Salvadorian treat, but perhaps they will taste the magic tomorrow. And hopefully Miss El Salvador will return this year!

Thanks for the tip, Britney!
