Will Modest Mouse Play The Greek on Sunday?

Dear LAist,
Any idea whether or not modest mouse will still be playing the greek this Sunday?
Love,Andrea of Burbank
Dear Andrea,
One of the great things about being LAist is we have the email addresses of everyone important. And we took your email and forwarded it to one person and that person replied in seconds and said that due to the fire, the Modest Mouse show on Sunday, as well as the Keane show tonight will go on... at the Gibson Theatre at Universal City.
Yes it's a bummer as the air is warm and it would be lovely to sit under the stars and listen to beautiful music while eating Pink's hot dogs, but the rescue crews are still using the Greek as their command center.
Looks like you'll have to float on down the 101 to the Gibson if you still want your Modest Mouse.
