Vehicle Crashes Into Downtown Taco Stand, Injuring Woman

A vehicle crashed into a taco stand in Downtown L.A. today, injuring a woman who worked there.

Police were called at about 1:20 p.m. to the corner of Olive Street and Venice Boulevard where a vehicle plowed five feet into the stand, according to CBS. The female worker suffered moderate injuries and was transported to an area hospital, according to an LAPD spokesperson.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation, and the city is assessing the structural damage to the building.
