Two bodies were found in different units of the same apartment building in Venice this morning.
Sgt. Brian Gura of the LAPD Pacific Division told LAist that police responded to 911 calls around 11 a.m. Two bodies, both adult men, were found in separate units in the building, which is located at 15 Horizon Avenue.
The building is very close to the boardwalk. A cause of death for both bodies has not been established yet, according to Sgt. Gura.
UPDATE 3:00 P.M.: ABC 7 is reporting that one of the bodies was of an obese resident who hadn't been seen for days. Police are saying he died of natural causes. The death of the second man may be drug-related. The two deaths don't appear to be related to each other.
