We need to hear from you.
Today during our spring member drive, put a dollar value on the trustworthy reporting you rely on all year long. The local news you read here every day is crafted for you, but right now, we need your help to keep it going. In these uncertain times, your support is even more important. We can't hold those in power accountable and uplift voices from the community without your partnership. Thank you.

A major intersection in Santa Monica closes tomorrow and will remain closed into next week as crews work to install Expo Line light rail tracks.

The crossing of Lincoln Boulevard and Colorado Avenue will be closed starting at 3 a.m. tomorrow. It is scheduled to reopen at 6 a.m. next Monday, Metro says.

In its second phase, the Expo Line will add stops across the Westside, including Bergamot, Santa Monica City College and downtown Santa Monica. So when the line opens in 2015, with any luck it should be a little easier to escape the constant gridlock Water Garden.
