Remember when Bill Nye, aka "The Science Guy," collapsed during a USC talk last month? He remembers it too and is thanking everyone who helped him through that rather awkward moment, according to the Studio City Patch. He's also thanking the students that didn't help him least not at first. At the time of his collapse, several students in the audience tweeted about it instead of rushing to help out. Many wondered how the usually easy-going Science Guy would eventually respond to onlookers who chose to gawk instead of give aid in his very public moment of need.

He's pretty chill about the whole thing and understands their initial reaction because his act is often funny. He suspects several Tweeters thought the fall was simply part of his speech and tweeted while waiting for him to continue, "as is their wont."
