Reading the Propositions

LAist was excited to see the article,"A Political Junkie Explains it All To You," which mentioned Steve Friedl's weblogdevoted to deciphering California's ballot initiatives, in the 10/24/04 edition of the Los Angeles Times. We'd been dreading the task of reading our thick voter's guide pamphlet and welcomed more information about propositions and candidates from a (relatively) disinterested party. We just wish the Times had printed Friedl's web site address in the article. We can understand if Los Angeles Times print edition style guides prohibit web addresses, but why couldn't the LAtimes.com have included a link? You can find Friedl's site here.
