Unlicensed Driver Crashes Car Into An El Pollo Loco
The El Pollo Loco on the 6600 block of Van Nuys Boulevard in Van Nuys doesn't have a drive-thru, but that didn't stop a motorist from driving through the fast food restaurant's front Sunday evening.
An unidentified unlicensed driver in his 50s smashed through the front of the chicken eatery at about 6 p.m., when the motorist put the car in drive instead of reverse as he'd meant to, according to City News Service.
Fortunately, at the time of the crash, no one was seated in the area by the front or the door, sparing any injuries.
The driver received a citation, and the car was released to its owner, who happened to be the female passenger in the vehicle at the time of the crash.
