Inside L.A.'s Trump Election Night Party
The largest, and perhaps only Trump victory party in L.A. County took place at 49ers Tavern in Long Beach last night. We dispatched photographer Tod Seelie to document what we expected would be a somber scene, but as the night went on Trump supporters became jubilant.
Seelie estimated around 50 (non-media) people were in the house, and reports back that "the mood was fairly celebratory at 8:30 p.m. because it looked good for Trump even then. It just got more and more confident throughout the night. One woman was crying, she was so happy. When Trump gave his victory speech the place went quiet and everyone was glued too the TV."
