A Metrolink train derailed at L.A. Union Station around 5 p.m. today.

Authorities were on hand helping people off the train, according to photos and videos from local news stations. No injuries were immediately reported, but rail commuters are likely to face a headache this evening with long delays.

Back in 2008, a Metrolink train crashed into a freight train in Chatsworth, killing 25 people. The Metrolink driver was later found to be texting and driving, prompting a number of new safety measures.
