If you're lucky enough to have someone answer your phone for you, may we remind you that tomorrow, Wednesday, April 26, is secretary's day administrative assistant day. The blog Florists in Los Angeles suggests, not surprisingly, that you get your assistant flowers.

If you're an assistant, now might be the time to nudge your Ari Gold and remind him how good you are. If you don't want flowers, prompt the boss to get creative: one lawyer let his assistant fire a client of her choosing. And of course there are plenty of spas, sushi places and bottles of booze that might relieve the burden of your 9-to-6 (or 7 or 8).

Bosses, it's OK to take your assistant out to a fancy lunch, but it's NOT cool to ask them to make the reservation. If you're booked for lunch and it's too late to get a gift — well, a day off would do just fine. Trust us.
