Bun-ka Do (Little Tokyo): Japanese ceramics, anime. Open until 5:30pm.
99 Cents Only Stores: ornaments, glass fruits & vegetables, candy, mugs, etc. Open until 9pm.
Taschen (Beverly Hills): artsy books. Open until 5pm.
American Apparel - Stores open until 4pm. Decorate the stuff yourself if you like with help fom Craftster.org.

Kevin Kelly shops for comics:
Meltdown Comics in Hollywood - Open until 6pm.
Comics Ink in Culver City (no website. So...off the grid) - Open until 5pm.
Secret Headquarters in Silverlake - Open until 9pm.
Things From Another World in Universal City - Open until 7pm
Golden Apple Comics on Melrose in Hollywood - Open until 5pm.
