LAst Laugh: This Week in Comedy

The kid is back! After a few harrowing weeks in India, LAst Laugh is back and once again under the tutelage of its master. Expect the usual listings, middling commentary, and push for shows that highlight charity - tis the season, tis it not?
This week has a toy drive at the Improv in Hollywood, and a few doppleganger shows (UCB and iO's weekly respective Harold Nights, Carlos Mencia and Steve-O both deciding stand up is a worthwhile endeavor), so get out to one or both or all, but don't just stay home. That's what Valentine's Day is for.

Jack, Morris & Jones, 9p iO West. A fantastic new pseudo-drama sketch show from the likes of iO’s most accomplished sketch performers, including Dave Hill and Matt Jones.
UCB’s Harold Night, 8p UCB. Upcoming Harold team auditions promise to shake up the landscape of this Monday night improv beast. Get out to see some of LA’s brightest tackle the Harold form.

Paul Scheer’s Sexy Christmas Spectacular, 9p Largo. Scheer pulls in the likes of Rob Huebel, Brett Gelman, Jon Daly, Kumail Nanjiani and more for an all-out assault on the holiday season.

The Midnight Show, midnight UCB. One of the better monthly sketch comedy shows in LA, The Midnight Show is fast becoming a hot spot to watch simmering talent boil over into commercial success. This month’s host is Brody Stevens.
SUNDAY 12/5
Spark of Love Toy Drive, 7:30p Hollywood Improv. Nick Swardson lends his considerable talent to a toy drive for kids this holiday season. A note: you must bring a toy to donate to gain entry.
The Thrilling Adventure Hour, 8:30p Largo. Old time radio comes to life with this great monthly sketch show at Largo.
