LAist's Big Menorah Guide

With Chanukah just around the corner (we're just waiting for the sun to set), LAist wanted to do their part in using the digital technology of the Internet to provide all our readers with the most comprehensive, full-featured Big Menorah Guide ever.

For example, there's a wonderful Big Menorah standing tall on the second floor of the Fashion Square Mall -- somewhere inbetween the pretzel shop and a T-Mobile kiosk. Worshippers who would like to light the candles (i.e., watch as some employee plugs in the thing and screws in light #1) should get there by mid-afternoon today for the festivities!

Another BIg Menorah sighting has just come in -- LAists living in the Westside area may want to visit what used to be known as the Century City Shopping Center where another Big Menorah stands proud nearby the Disney Store and the Krispy Kreme kiosk. Festivities here are not planned, but you can bet those lights are gonna be burning bright before 5pm today.

LAist is looking to you, dear readers, to keep the Big Menorah sightings going strong today. Where have you seen a Big Menorah? Was it nice? Is it affixed with glass faux-candles or is it an actual, fire-breathing kind?

Keep us posted, while keeping your fellow Angelenos posted.

Oh, and Happy Chanukah.
