For those wondering what ever happened to former California Governor Gray Davis after he was recalled (and after he appeared in that Yahoo! commercial), he has joined the LA law firm of Loeb & Loeb.

Davis hasn’t practiced law since the early 1970’s, but he declared himself “determined to prove to Loeb & Loeb that [he] will make a substantial contribution to the firm and its clients.” The firm has represented big names such as the Beastie Boys, Steven Seagal, and Denise Rich, but also does a great deal of pro bono work.

Davis is expected to use his relationships to “drum up new business,” according to Loeb & Loeb co-chairman John Frankenheimer. Maybe the Governator needs a lawyer?
