LA Conversations: Awards Edition

Overheard Saturday night while standing at valet outside an Independent Spirit Awards After Party:
Designated Driver (as she sits in the driver's seat): Somebody was getting high in here. Your car totally smells like pot.
Drunk car owner (after smelling her car and returning to the valet station): I don't mean to offend anyone but which one of you guys was toking up in my car?
Valet Manager: Oh no. Not my guys. They've been with me for years.
Drunk car owner (to one of the valet guys): Come smell.
Valet guy takes a quick sniff of the car and says: I don't smell anything.
Drunk car owner: Get your head in here!
Valet guy takes a bigger sniff: No. I don't smell it...and I know what it smells like.
Designated Driver: Close the door, you're letting the smell out!
Drunk car owner to second valet guy: You wanna get a whiff too?
