The Olympic Games are ancient, dating back in one form to the 8th century B.C.,. But they're also constantly changing.

This year, the Games added two new sports: golf and rugby sevens. They won out over other possible first time sports, karate, squash and roller sports — as well as two sports that were dropped from the Olympic games: baseball and softball.

Lots of sports are considered on the border of the Olympic games. Some sports are cut, while other are admitted. Some are cut and then make their way back in — for instance, baseball, softball and karate will all be back at the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo. They'll be joined by new sports surfing, skateboarding and sport climbing.

Wrestling (both freestyle and Greco-Roman) was supposed to have been cut after the 2016 games, but won its way back for the 2020 Games. The sport has missed only a single Olympics in 1900.

Other sports also seem to be teetering on the edge of inclusion in the Games. They include modern pentathlon, taekwondo and badminton.

Which sports do you think should either be part of future Olympics? Which say sayonara after Tokyo? Vote these sports up and down in the poll below, and let us know in the comments if there are others that should be added (or cut).
