Customize Your Bowl At The New JINYA Ramen Express In Hollywood

Ramen lovers have a new destination for slurping a quick bowl of noodles in Hollywood. Today, JINYA Ramen Express debuts at the Hollywood and Highland Center, inviting hungry visitors to build their own ramen bowl with a Chipotle-style, fast casual set-up, according to Eater LA. The new location offers a wide variety of customizable options—including ramen variations, as well as salads and rice bowls—as well as pre-designed signature dishes found at the company's other popular spots, including Robata JINYA on W. 3rd St. and JINYA Ramen Bar in Studio City and Santa Monica.
At JINYA Ramen Express, customers start by choosing a base of ramen, ramen salad or rice. If you pick ramen, you then select a broth—which includes tonkotsu and chicken with spicy options and a vegan one—as well as a noodle type, which includes their original, thin or spinach noodles. Then for all of the bases, you'll choose from a variety of proteins, including chashu pork, chicken or tofu, and then you can add a vegetable and sauce. Finally, go to town with an array of garnishes like green onions, jalapeños and red pickled ginger. Or, you can go with the classic JINYA pre-designed combos like Tonkotsu Black with pork broth and black garlic oil. You can also add a side of their crispy chicken or a salad, and finish things off with a panna cotta, because, why not?
JINYA Ramen Express will have their grand opening on Saturday, November 21, but you can check them out this week during the soft opening. The location will be open 7 days a week from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
