Jihad on LAPD?

Before you
Dear reader, we're asking you to help us keep local news available for all. Your financial support keeps our stories free to read, instead of hidden behind paywalls. We believe when reliable local reporting is widely available, the entire community benefits. Thank you for investing in your neighborhood.

Anybody want to shed some light on this? KFI and Worldnet Daily are talking about a flyer that showed up last week in South LA suggesting that area gangs end their turf wars, join the Nation of Islam and start a Jihad against the LAPD apparently in response to the Tony Muhammad situation. The problem, though, is that the flyer references a currently defunct phone number for the 87th street mosque. The Nation isn't talking but it seems odd that the flyer would reference a dead line if they were truly trying to recruit new members. This just in: The NOI categorically denies issuing the flyer.

So, what's the deal? If the Nation didn't issue the flyer, who did and to what end?
