Last month, local singer/songwriter Jessie Baylin (MySpace) performed at the Hotel Cafe in Hollywood and Apple Store on the Third Street Promenade in Santa Monica to celebrate the release of her debut album Firesight. Opening for Baylin at the Hotel Cafe was Justin Connor (MySpace) and following her was local Zack Hexum (MySpace), who joined her onstage for a song, as well as Kenneth Pattengale (MySpace).

She also blogged on the day of her Apple Store show:

I have to say, the Hotel Cafe will forever be my musical home. It has gone through many changes, as have i, and still when i get back on that stage i feel like i am 21 years old, singing for my life, and i don't think that will ever change. There's a spirit about that place and its haunting my musical soul... Tuesday night was probably the first night in years that i left before last call. For ONCE in my life, i was a good girl... but i kind of had to be because i was shooting my music video the next day and had an early call time... Today i am doing my Apple in store performance. this is really excited because the show will be recorded for my live acoustic iTunes ep... its going to be really honest and pretty, and i think it will go nicely beside the new record.

Special thanks to Jessie Baylin, Hotel Cafe, and Apple Store.
