Howard Stern Fans Outside The Avalon, 5/5/07
Clearly we aren't as big of Howard Stern fans as some would have you think. When we heard that the "Killers of Comedy" (members of Stern's staff and "Wack Pack") were scheduled to be at the Avalon Saturday night we dilly-dallied and didn't make it to Vine until 9ish.
Unfortunately the show starring Rev. Bob Levy, Sal Governale, Richard Christy, Shuli, KC Armstrong and the lovable Beetlejuice started at a head-scratching 6pm so the club could empty out and allow people to start dancing at 10pm.
So we found out about what happened during the show by these three gentlemen outside.
It might not be the way the LA Times does comedy reviews, but then again our viewership continues to rise as theirs continues to sink, so maybe we're doing something right.
And bababooey to y'all.
