A mother, her two young daughters and a 60-year-old relative were all found dead inside a gated community home in San Clemente yesterday. No suspects are currently on the loose, say police.

"We know where the father was, and the father was nowhere near the crime scene." an official told the LA Times. "We are conducting an active death investigation... There's no killer out there. The incident is contained to that residence."

Police responded to the home on a welfare check around 1:30 p.m. yesterday at the request of the home's owner--the deceased were renting the place--who was alerted by neighbors that possibly a domestic dispute was occurring. When authorities arrived, they found several bodies laying next to each other in a hallway on the second floor, according to the Orange County Register.

The two daughters were aged 2 and 1/2 and 4 years old. Names of the family have not been released.
