Late-Night Snack: Onion Rings at Du-pars

Very few places can claim bragging rights over their onion rings. One place that can is Du-pars, the long-lasting 24-hour Los Angeles diner and bakery that has three locations in the region (Farmer's Market on Fairfax, Studio City and Thousand Oaks).

Their onion rings, as described by the menu and priced at $7.00, are "hand cut rings dipped in cracker meal and buttermilk fried to golden brown," and are extremely delish, especially dipped in ranch dressing. Apparently, these types of foods are popular at the restaurant, according to their website: "Du-par’s has also developed a strong following for its comfort foods"

Also to check out? Snack also loves their pancakes (the secret recipe from the 1938 is kept in a safe at the Farmer's Market location) and their homemade veggie burger.
