Deacon Booze has returned! Yes, your favorite Steely-Dan-inspired happy hour listing is back on track for March, and we still need your hott hott tips! I recently fell victim to a devil of a gastrointestinal virus (sexy!), and so was unable to ingest any kind of liquid other than Top Ramen broth, but I am happy to say that my convalescence is complete, and I am ready to drink. And drink. And drink! Send your favorite happy hours my way at carrie@laist.com.


  • Tokyo Table, Beverly Hills: 4pm-7pm DAILY, $3 appetizers: edamame, ume cucumber, assorted rice crackers, yukari french fries, peppered chicken wings, crispy calamari tempura, garlic shishito peppers, spicy tuna roll, california roll, teriyaki beef hamburger. $3 brews: Shochikubai sake, Japanese draft beer, selected wine, well cocktails.
  • Daily Grill, Universal City: 4-7pm, $5 martini special on Tuesdays only. The manager confirmed that this lasts a few more weeks. Drinks usually start at $10. (h/t Bargain Hunter)
  • Big Wang's, Hollywood: Another location opening in North Hollywood soon! Tequila Tuesday from 7-10pm, $1 tacos, $2 tequila shots, margaritas, and Tecate.
