Beer Festival Fundraiser @Golden Road Brewing
Sunday, March 11, LA’s newest and largest craft brewery will host a beer festival to benefit Whole Food’s Whole Planet Foundation, which funds poverty alleviation worldwide. In addition to their signature brews, Golden Road will be releasing a new cask beer in honor of the event, and food will be provided by Whole Foods Market in collaboration with their local vendors and chefs. It will take place at Golden Road Brewing in Atwater Village from 2-5pm and will include raffles, a brewery tour, and home brew seminars. The even is $20 per person (21+). Tickets can be purchased at the door or in advance online.Orange County Restaurant Week
We are in the midst of OC Restaurant Week, running February 26-March 3, featuring prixe-fix dining deals and Orange County’s top chefs.

Pop-up Paella @55 Degree Wine
The Paella Project will be serving its namesake at 55 Degree Wine on March 6. From 6-7:30 there will be tapas served for $5, and from 7:30-9:30 paella will be offered for $10-13. Wine pairings will also be available. Cash only.

Celebrate Culina’s Anniversary With Free Prosecco
Culina, the Beverly Hills Italian eatery will be offering all diners complimentary Prosecco on Saturday, March 3.

Pastry Chef Sally Camacho is Back @WP24
In 2011, Camacho competed on Bravo’s “Top Chef Just Desserts,” represented the United States at the Valrhona C3 World Competition in Madrid, where she placed third, and was recognized by Asian Journal as one of the “Top 10 LifeEASTyle People of 2011.” Now she is back at WP24 and has added some new items to the menu, including Pear Umai with Roasted Market Pears and Hojicha Ice Cream and Star Anise Donuts.

Bols Genever and “The Old Fashioned Artist” @Neat
Beginning at 5:30 pm on Thursday, March 1 there will free admission to Glendale’s Neat Bar to sip cocktails by guest bartender Marcos Tello and view the cocktail-themed paintings of local artist Matt Talbert. Talbert’s current work addresses the growing craft cocktail movement in America. There will be a round table at 7pm, the Patty Wagon food truck, and live bluegrass at the end of the evening.

Real Food Daily Opening in Pasadena in the Spring
Organic vegan restaurant Real Food Daily will be opening its third location in the South Lake Avenue district of Pasadena sometime in early May. The restaurant will also be opening a concession at LAX in September, and has more unannounced locations in the works.
