Extreme Makeover Eco-Friendly Edition
See, not all reality tv is bad. This Sunday's episode of ABC'sExtreme Makeover Home Edition will feature a house built "California Friendly." What is a California Friendly home? One with water-saving and weather-sensitive construction and design in mind. Southern California Water Conservation agencies have launched a 4 month ad campaign to encourage home owners and designers to be more environmentally conscious about their real estate.
They've even launched a website to support the initiative.
Ty and the gang will explain how they did it all on the appropriately titled How'd They Do That? on Monday, March 28th. This isn't the first time Extreme Makeover has worked on local homes with the interest in improving Los Angeles. Last year, carpenter Paige Hennis worked with Hollywood's Habitat for Humanity for an all-women house build in Long Beach.
