Murder wasn't the case for Snoop Lion's (or Snoop Dogg's) son, but a brawl during a high school football game could get the rapper's son suspended from the team.

On Friday, a massive brawl between rivals Diamond Bar High and the visiting Diamond Ranch High on the field included players, coaches and fans in the final minutes of a 34-20 Diamond Ranch victory. Players told CBS LA that a large number of players will be suspended as a result. Diamond Bar has an off week, and Diamond Ranch will play at Rowland High on Friday.

One of the players reported to be involved in the brawl was Diamond Bar's wide receiver Cordell Broadus, Snoop Lion's son.

Broadus is not the type of celebrity offspring just hanging on this father's laurels. Broadus is a 6-foot-3, 186-pound junior standout receiver and has been given a scholarship offer to Notre Dame earlier this month. USC and UCLA also made offers to Broadus.
