TV Junkie: Interviews w/Peter Gallagher & Anne Dudeck of 'Covert Affairs'
At last week's USA network upfronts we got to speak with "Covert Affairs" castmates Peter Gallagher (above) and Anne Dudeck (below). Gallagher has his choice of roles out there but he's sticking with "Covert Affairs" and it's interesting to hear why. We're a big fan of Dudeck's not only in "Covert Affairs" but also her performance in HBO's "Big Love." Tomorrow we'll conclude our USA interviews with cast from "Royal Pains" and "Law & Order: Criminal Intent." [Check out yesterday's post with Sarah Shahi and others from "Fairly Legal" , Tuesday's post with James Roday and Dulé Hill from "Psych," and Monday's post with the cast of the new series "Necessary Roughness."]
If you're a fan of news on TV then that means you're either watching the BBC or "PBS NewsHour" and you'll have to tip your hat to Jim Lehrer who is stepping down on June 6 from the show after 36 years of bringing in-depth and factual news reporting. He will still be involved with the show but he won't be on camera every day. "PBS NewsHour" has easily been the best news show for most of it's tenure and with Lehrer still involved editorially this won't change any time soon.
Some fans of "The Office" (not including me) don't like what he's doing there but Will Ferrell will be honored for his entire body of work with the Mark Twain Prize for Humor this October in Washington DC. Congrats to Will! Check out our brief interview with Ferrell at the Tribeca Film Festival.
On Tuesday we posted a text excerpt of our interview with voice actor Billy West, the man behind Stimpy in "Ren & Stimpy," Doug in "Doug," and half the voices in "Futurama." Below is our Channel Zero podcast with Billy West:
Please subscribe on iTunes to keep up with our interviews. Next week: Anders Holm from "Workaholics" and Louis C.K. from "Louie."
