Tonight In Rock: Social Distortion, The Get Up Kids, Monotonix, The Blow

Our Pick: The Blow @ The Satellite
Tonight Fullerton-based punk rock outfit Social Distortion (LAist Review) will be performing to a sold-out crowd at the Hollywood Palladium. Legendary Kansas City-bred indie rock maestros the Get Up Kids are poised to take on the Troubadour with New Jersey's own indie rock quintet Steel Train some seven years after the release of their debut album, in anticipation of their fifth studio full-length—2011's There Are Rules.
And, lastly, Israeli shock rock troupe Monotonix (LAist Review) will be gracing the Echo with none other than San Franciscan psych-infused garage rocker Ty Segall and Long Beach's own surf punk trio Tijuana Panthers. But we strongly suggest heading over to the Satellite to catch Brooklyn-based electro pop act the Blow.
