Tonight In Rock: Les Savy Fav, Ane Brun, Red Sparowes, Pollyn

Ane Brun will be performing tonight at Largo at the Coronet | Picture via Ane Brun's Myspace
Our Pick: Ane Brun, Ólöf Arnalds @ Largo at the Coronet
Tonight New York-based rock and roll outfit Les Savy Fav will not only be performing for free at the Getty Center for this month's edition of 'Saturdays Off the 405.' Local post-rock act Red Sparowes are poised to take over the Echoplex with none other Brooklyn-based indie rock quintet Fang Island and Jesus Makes the Shotgun Sound in tow. And, lastly, LA-bred electro pop trio Pollyn will be gracing Spaceland with Indiana-bred rapper Freddie Gibbs. But we strongly suggest heading over to Largo at the Coronet to catch Norwegian singer-songwriter Ane Brun. LAist favorite, Icelandic singer-songwriter Ólöf Arnalds is slated to kick things off.

At the same time, it’s never been more difficult to maintain a paywall-free, independent news source that informs, inspires, and engages everyone.

LAist has been there for you and we’re asking you to be here for us.
We rely on donations from readers like you to stay independent, which keeps our nonprofit newsroom strong and accountable to you.
No matter where you stand on the political spectrum, press freedom is at the core of keeping our nation free and fair.
