Our Pick: David Bazan (with band), Say Hi @ Troubadour
Tonight English indie rock singer-songwriter Jack Peñate will be headlining the Echo with none other than Swedish electro pop outfit Miike Snow. Early on in the day, New Zealand-bred electro pop singer-songwriter Ladyhawke is poised to grace Space 15 Twenty. And, lastly, Chicago's legendary spoken word soul performer Gil Scott Heron will be taking on the El Rey Theatre. But we strongly suggest heading over to the Troubadour to catch celebrated indie rock singer-songwriter David Bazan, who spent most of his formative years performing under the moniker Pedro the Lion.
