Tonight In Rock: Cursive, Richard Swift, The Mae Shi, Crooked Cowboy & the Freshwater Indians

Our Pick: Richard Swift, Dappled Cities, We Barbarians @ Spaceland
Tonight prolific Nebraska-based indie rock outfit Cursive will be spending their last night in LA at the Troubadour. Local experimental rockers the Mae Shi are poised to perform at the relatively hole-and-corner Pehrspace for a local blogger's birthday, Mouse of Classical Geek Theatre. And, lastly, Highland Park's own deep crooner Crooked Cowboy & the Freshwater Indians will be gracing the Echoplex with Gram Rabbit and Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros. Of course, we recommend trekking over to Meet Mix Mogul to catch Meiko and Evan Way of the Parson Red Heads, who will be playing for the third night of local photography exhibit Exposure. But we strongly suggest heading over to Spaceland to catch local singer-songwriter Richard Swift. Sydney's own indie rock buzz band Dappled Cities are slated to kick the show off.
