Tonight In Rock: Cat Power, Cradle of Filth, thenewno2, Illa J

Illa J will be playing tonight at Amoeba Records | Picture via Illa J'sMyspace
Our Pick: Illa J @ Amoeba Music (Early Show; 7 PM)
Tonight Atlanta-based singer-songwriter Cat Power will be concluding a two-night stint at the Avalon with local psych-rockers the Entrance Band. Suffolk's own metal heads Cradle of Filth are slated to rock the Henry Fonda Music Box. And, lastly, Dhani Harrison's thenewno2 will be performing at the Key Club. But today marks the 3 year anniversary of famed hip hop producer/DJ J Dilla's untimely death. We strongly suggest heading over to Amoeba Records on Sunset to commemorate his wondrous life with the beats of his younger brother Illa J. Raise it up for Ma Dukes!
