Tonight In Rock: Angus & Julia Stone, Nada Surf, The Airborne Toxic Event, Sam Sparro

Our Pick: Nada Surf, Telekinesis @ Troubadour
Tonight Australian brother-sister folk duo Angus & Julia Stone will be performing at the Masonic Lodge at Hollywood Forever. Los Feliz-bred Top 40 maestros the Airborne Toxic Event are poised to take on the Echo with none other than local indie rockers Red Cortez (LAist Review, #2, #3, #4) in tow. And, lastly, Australian electro pop singer-songwriter Sam Sparro will be gracing the Standard Hotel on Sunset in honor of Harvey Milk Day. But we strongly suggest heading over to the Troubadour to catch NY-based indie rock trio Nada Surf, who are kicking off a two-night stint in support of their latest collection of covers—2010's If I Had A Hi-Fi. LAist favorite, Michael Benjamin Lerner, who performs under the pseudonym Telekinesis, is slated to kick things off.
