Dale Trumbore, recent winner of the Sadye J. Moss Composition Prize and USC alum, is recording a new CD, Snow White Turns Sixty. This project focuses on 12 contemporary female poets' re-telling of classic fairy tales, in collaboration with soprano Gillian Hollis. The poets include Barbara Crooker, Annie Finch, Julie Kane, Eileen Moeller, Eva Rifkah, and Diane Thriel. Expect a modern, darker/sexier re-interpretation.

They are aiming for a September release, and you can give some money through kickstarter until June 30th, which gives you early access to a few recordings and CD's. If you didn't get to see the USC Chamber Opera perform earlier this year, there are a few recordings on youtube.
